As readers may have gathered, my boyfriend tends to buy most of hair products from his hairdresser! (I don’t do this myself as I find it too expensive – often I can find the same or similar products recommended to me at Hair House Warehouse, Chemist Warehouse and so on… :))
Thus my latest bloke’s review is covering another – but different – hair product:
(I confess it’s been a while since my last post on a bloke’s/guy’s product – to refresh people’s memory when reading the rest of this: S = me and R = my boyfriend!)
S) What led you to buy this product?
R) My hairdresser recommended that I get it as it would help protect the colour in my hair.
S) How much was it and where can you get it?
R) $27 (AUD), from hairdressing salons.
S) What do you like about it? Does it do what your hairdresser said it would (re: colour)?
R) Being a 2-in-1 is handy as usually I rarely use conditioner so it means I’m conditioning my hair a lot more often, which is probably a good thing. So far it seems to be helping the colour last, but I’ve only been using it for around 2 weeks so it’s a bit early to say!
S) What don’t you like about it?
R) For the price it doesn’t smell or feel particularly “special” or different compared to cheaper shampoos and conditioners I’ve used.
S) Would you buy it again?
R) No I wouldn’t for the reason above!
S) Any other comments on this one?
R) It doesn’t leave any fragrance on my hair once dry, despite the strong smell of the product. But I guess that’s a good thing, as being a guy I don’t want my hair to be too perfumed ha!
S) What would you rate the product out of 5 for quality, and for value for money?
R) Quality I’d give a 3/5, and value 2/5.
